AM Aesthetic
AM Aesthetic are an alt/rock band originally from Connecticut, now based in New York〔Prosper Moore LLC, ("AM Aesthetic - Biography" ), ''BHi Music Group''〕 and consist of Rob Suchecki (vocals/guitars), Patrick Raimondi (bass) and RJ Dowhan (drums).
==Background==
Rob Suchecki and Patrick Raimondi started playing in bands together in rural Connecticut. Rob’s uncle had been giving him guitar lessons on a miniature acoustic since he was 8 years old and Patrick had discovered his dad’s 1950s Epiphone guitar. Patrick gravitated towards the bass and, with a mutual love of punk, blues and alternative rock borne from the likes Oasis, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day and Nirvana. Patrick and Rob spent the next ten years performing shows in bars even though they were underage.
In 2009, after writing and recording their first EP, (AM)bivalence, as AM Aesthetic, the duo used the internet to look for a drummer. RJ Dowhan, a fellow Connecticut native, was selected. RJ found his passion for drumming from his two older brothers, one of whom played the drums. Being that the drum kit was set up lefty, RJ learned to play it as such, despite being right-handed.
